MOVEMENT AS A PRINCIPLE OF PRODUCTION AND PROCESSING OF THE ACT ITSELF
Nespolo's objects have provocative effects. They measure the information, the novelty of an effect, rather than the alienating use (surreal) of it's factors. They use artificial systems to produce effects that are not relevant to their common maintenance.
Tubes that conduct air, telephones that transmit the sound of current, and so on.
The distance between the technological object that is proposed and it's consumption is the measure of information. It is easy to determine; the effectors are entities in which factors enter and effects go out, beyond any relation of reality, without the involvement of contingency.
The difficulty is to make it visible. It's ajust the fact to produce them within a cultural context, which makes them imaginable, and logical. If their dose of originality is what makes them exist, it's only the cultural destination that makes them act-in themselves. This movement in emphasis, from effectors makes them become detectors.
As a thermometer simple measure of effects, can be transformed in a thermostat that sets a chiller or boiler in motion, with the simple addiction of a strong enforcement, as well as forces of a field, the effectors of Nespolo become actors of culture. That, if culture is not a doctrine, but an activity that, incorporating knowledge, produces action.
The results are not artistic concepts, but the clarification of propositions such as: "the sign is the sensitive of the symbol" "an effect cannot have a single factor" "the dialect of the categories requires a contrast between what is intelligible and what is original" "the absurd of reality is not the absurd of the logic" "something logic cannot be only possible; it must be".
